Just now:
1 chicken sandwich on ciabatta bread with mustard and gouda cheese =]
1 cup pineapple
1 cinnamon roll
Hear that, y'all??? ONE
Usually I eat like seven and THEN I stop.
I've decided that telling myself "NO, absolutely not" only makes me want it more.
So here's my new strategy...
It still goes along with the ABC diet rules, but I will allow myself to eat whatever I want, as long as it fits in with my calorie limit.
Plus, I've compiled a ginormous list of "negative" calorie foods, so that I can eat them as much as I want and not feel guilty.
That pineapple I ate counts as a negative calorie food.
For those of you who don't know/understand negative calorie foods, it sounds a bit like such:
In goes the food with its calories and all.
Digestion takes place, and... What's this?? More calories are required to digest this food than the food actually contains...
Ergo: the final answer is a negative number.
I'm in a pretty damned good mood right now. I haven't eaten simply a balanced meal in a LONG time.
Usually I start off by telling myself "no food. Not now. Not ever"
Then, as the day goes on my resolve begins to become weakened and finally I cave.
That's usually when the cravings for the yicky and naughty foods kick in...
And then comes the binge.
So I'll just eliminate that and include a tiny bit of everything in my meal... [enough that I still don't go over the calorie limit]
So my sandwich was about 250
And the cinnamon roll was probably anywhere between 250 and 300 calories.
Which would put me at either 500 or 550.
And if I burn off some calories through exercise or whatnot, I can lower that =]
But, for the rest of the day, I'll be sticking to yummy yummy fruit smoothies!
I just gotta wait for the blender to be clean lol.
Sorry for the boring post.... THINSPO
This one's theme is... SLUMBER PARTY!!!
YOU GO GIRL!
ReplyDeleteGreat attitude!!! :D Keep it up!
Ahh you're doing SO great! Really happy for you. You're totally going about this the right way. I too am allowing myself to eat things like cinnamon swirls and chocolate etc, just less of it!
ReplyDeleteLets not go into the bad habit of completely losing it and eating 10 of the damn things in one go. I mean, lets face it - that's repulsive.
Good luck with the rest of the ABC! Your attitude is pure inspiration.
xx
MAybe I'm sick in the head, but I thought all those thinspo girls were fat except that chick in the red pjs and the last one in the blue shirt and shorts.. Lol
ReplyDeleteAnyway.. Thank you for doing the diet with me. Day 4 (400 cal) is actually going pretty good so far. tangerines are a like saver.. and the little 30 cal gatorades are amazing too.
Hell yeah for the ABC!
yay u did good today
ReplyDeleteSounds like you did awesome today! More fruits and veggies is never a bad thing. And if you eat lots of those, you won't feel like bingeing when you let yourself have that cinnamon roll. ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the uplifting comment! JK Rowling is like my patron saint--every time I get a rejection, I remind myself how many times her book was rejected. I think it got rejected like 20+ times from publishers, so lord knows how many agency rejections she must have gone through (100's?!). And then the publisher that eventually took the first Harry Potter book told her not to expect to make that much money from it.
:/
xoxo
You're doing so good! Keep up the good work!
